Ach
Tung, Baby!

Generally, I'm not
grateful for conservative action groups. I especially don't like
the ones that espouse a white supremacy lunacy which places white
Christian people at the top of God's list of chosen people.
But there are a couple
of groups on the American landscape that have basackwardly forwarded
the cause of civil rights in the U.S. of A, namely the Ku Klux
Klan and the National Socialists, or American Nazi Party. The
dunces behind the white cotton sheets and the swastika tattoos
have committed such heinous acts of violence against minorities
in this country; they've forced the government into rare action
protecting the well being of all the racial groups making up our
melting pot nation.
The Klan and the Nazis
have been operating underground the last few years, having felt
the backlash from their support of the Oklahoma City Bombing of
1995. However, both groups are coming back with a vengeance, exploiting
the issue of illegal immigration to attract new members. In a
Reuters' story from February 8, 2007, Anti-Defamation League spokesman
Allen Kohlhepp said of the situation "The (Klan's) thinking
is that if the average Joe is against immigration then we're against
it too. They are trying to gain a foothold in the mainstream community."
Considering the ugly
reputations of both the Klan and the Nazi's, I think we progressives
should welcome their entrance into the illegal immigration debate.
In fact, I'd love to see members of both groups come down here
to my border state of Arizona, and have a mixer with the so-called
'Minutemen', toy soldiers with live ammo guarding crossing points
between Mexico and the U.S. I'd like to see Colorado Congressman
Tom Tancredo, a passionate advocate for anti-illegal immigration
legislation come down too, maybe pose for some pictures with the
guys standing up for the twin legacies of southern-style lynching
and Eastern European style Holocausts. I bet the Klan and Nazi's
would have extra robes and jackboots just for Tancredo to wear.
And mostly, I'd like
to see the hooded folk and brown-shirts goose-stepping all over
the border - get MSNBC, CNN, and especially Fox News to cover
it. Because once the anti-immigration movement gets associated
with these guys, it'll be finished. After the first giant cross
is lit, or illegal immigrant is shot or hung, no one; not one
Senator, Congressman or even 'average Joe' with a ½ ounce
worth of sense or self respect will want their names associated
with these groups.
Even better, the presence
of these groups will likely move border state governors and even
Georgie-Porgy at the White House to reassign the National Guard
working with Border Patrol to watch these morons. And just to
protect his own ass, Georgie-poo will have to change his domestic
spying program around, specifically snooping into the conversations
and emails of Klan and Nazi members, leaving less opportunity
to spy on regular citizens.
Yes, I say thank goodness
for the conservative lunatic fringe! If anyone can motivate Congress
and the President into a workable amnesty plan for illegal aliens,
it'll be those guys. Despite any dictatorial ambitions conservative
leaders have, they want the appearance of respecting civil rights.
Our leadership won't place their own necks in the hangman's noose
too soon.
